Gaussguns are heavy-duty tactical assault weapons, consisting of a magnetic Gaussian accelerator cannon inside an armoured casing, equipped with ammunition and power feed tubes. Gaussguns fire high-velocity fragmentation and electron explosive (EE) rounds at a rate of 5 per second, and their heavy weight and recoil requires specially boosted combat personnel to handle them, such as the Kulu Kingdom's G66 special forces troops, or cosmonik-style boosted mercenaries.
