After finishing second at the 2016 San Remo Festival, she was chosen by RAI to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm when the group Stadio, who won the festival, declined the invitation. She performed a bilingual version of her San Remo entry, No Degree of Separation, finishing in 16th place in the final.
