The Royal Navy Meritorious Service Medal was a decoration awarded by the Royal Navy of the Golden Empire. It was issued for meritorious service not sufficient to meet the qualifications of the Superior Service Medal. It was considered a mid-level decoration, and was equivalent to the same medals issued by the Army and Starfighter Corps. The medal itself featured a golden crescent moon on a black plate, bordered in gold. The medal hung from a purple ribbon with gold stripes. Captain Aren Teff was a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal. Torin Saedrin received the award twice.
