The unnamed Punter was a customer at The Pink Flamingo nightclub in Patricroft where Vera Duckworth insisted on going with Ivy Tilsley in September 1987 to celebrate her birthday. While Vera happily danced away, the punter tried drunkenly to chat up a thoroughly unimpressed Ivy. Vera recognised him as someone they had seen entering the club and playfully suggested that Ivy had taken him from her. The punter told them it didn't matter - they could go on to another club as a threesome, as soon as he had been to the toilets to throw up. Totally disgusted and having had enough, Ivy promptly left while Vera stayed behind to be chatted up by a Barman.
