Yizre'el () is a kibbutz in north-eastern Israel. Located in the Jezreel Valley near Afula, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gilboa Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 487. The kibbutz was established on 20 August 1948 by demobilised Palmach soldiers on the remains of the abandoned Arab village of Zir'in. It was named after the ancient city of Tel Yizre'el, which was located in the area. On 6 September 1969 it became one of the first kibbutzim to abandon the system of children sleeping in communal houses, and instead to allow them to live with their parents.
