The 1962 Buddy Shuman 250 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Hickory Speedway on September 7, 1962. Rex White had an easy victory, leading 178 of the 250 laps and cruised to a nine-lap victory on Jimmy Pardue. Eventual season champ Joe Weatherly finished 5th. Stats
