Varys Blackthorne was a distant ancestor of Cadden Blackthorne's, and was the original founder of the Guardians of the Force. He rose to the rank of Jedi Master during his lifetime, and was a great war hero during, and following, the Great War. It was during this time that he became known as the Guardian of the Force.
