Cormanthyr was once a great elven empire situated amid the trees of Cormanthor, whose capital was Myth Drannor. It was formed many millenia ago by the unification of smaller elven kingdoms and realms, including Semberholme, and prospered for many years. It fell into ruin when the Army of Darkness attacked the forest and Myth Drannor was lost.
