Angel is a television series developed by Joss Whedon. It is considered part of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer canon, as well as part of the Jossverse, because it is a spin-off of BtVS. Its primary focus is on the titular character, the vampire Angel, and the detective agency he runs in Los Angeles. Several of the characters in Angel come from the original series. Because it shares a canon with BtVS, it also shares the traditional charge list of the first series. Angel also shares a Fanfiction University, the Official Buffy and Angel Fanfiction University, as well as the mini type, mini-trolls.
