The AIE-486 Minigun is an electrically-powered, 7.62mm gatling gun used by the UNSC Defence Force for a variety of missions and roles. It is manufactured by Eldric Armaments, and was introduced in 2522 to fill UNSC Army requirements for a lighter calibre alternative to the M41 heavy machine gun.
