Aletauca was created on May 27, 2008, by Velocia. Charter was created by Ayrrie (Beruriah), and signed by the charter members: Velocia, Thorindia2, demilich, Largonia, Palidius, Beruriah, Phoenix_Foundation, Regsavage, Megatropolis, Mingestan The initial government of Aletauca consisted of a Consul and three Ministers. The charter allows for Senior Directors as well, though at the time of Aletauca's formation, they were not needed.
