Ycera was born on the Cenus and had a depressing childhood. She had parents who fought while she watched. Her father then killed her mother and attempted to kill his own daughter. He dropped his weapon, overwhelmed by regret. Her crew found her father along with her dead mother. She was then adopted by her parents' friends, thus reinstating her last name to "Aranai."
