Originally a human, many centuries ago, Neclord found his way to the Blue Moon Village, where he was transformed into a vampire by Sierra Mikain. Neclord was a popular member of the community due to his talent and friendly nature. He was the favorite of Sierra, but secretly, he was scheming to take the Moon Rune, one of the 27 True Runes, for himself. He succeeded in obtaining the rune during a village festival, stealing the rune from an altar in the centre of the village. This action had forced all the members of the village to make a choice: sustain themselves on human blood or perish.
