In every generation, a girl meant to be the Guardian of Pandora's Box will be born. Each girl would be trained by the previous Guardian, and instructed carefully about the dangers and powers of the box. If a Guardian dies, the box automatically moves on to the next one. However, if the next Guardian has not been born, there would not be anyone around to guard the box or put the released evil back in.
