Ice-worms are enormous, hairy, tentacled monsters that live in the icy wastes of Frigia. They are attracted by the smell of blood. An ice-worm attacks Flash Gordon's hunting party as they shoot Snow oxen. Flash kills the ice-worm with a ray gun. ("The Ice Kingdom of Mongo")
