Atalia VII was the inhabited seventh planet of the Atalia system. The planet was the site of a diplomatic conference in 2369. The conference had been scheduled six months in advance and was to have been attended by the USS Enterprise-D, with Jean-Luc Picard acting as a mediator. His participation was delayed when the Enterprise became involved with the late Richard Galen's quest to decipher an ancient message coded in the genetic material of several Alpha and Beta Quadrant species. (TNG: "The Chase" ) This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
