In the mirror universe, Azrene was a Tholian female who acted as the delegate of the Ruling Conclave of the Tholian Assembly during the late 24th century. In 2377, Azrene and her Breen counterpart Thot Gor, the speaker of the Breen Confederacy, responded to a request from Prefect Zogozin, the proxy of the Imperator of the Gorn Hegemony, to meet with him in the Taurus Reach to discuss the impending dissolution of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and the rise of the Terran Rebellion. Provided with the executive power of her government, Azrene accepted Zogozin's invitation to form an interstellar alliance between their two peoples and the Breen which would fill the resulting power vacuum.
