Hurricane Larry; most frequently referred to as The Great Christmas Hurricane of 2015, was an extremely severe and catastrophic off-season major hurricane that developed in late 2015, during an otherwise inactive season. Larry wreaked havoc for many on Christmas Day. It was the longest-lived off-season tropical cyclone ever to form.
