The Masked Rider is part of Sega's "TruVideo" series of games on the Sega CD, and features footage from the Japanese film dubbed over with English voice actors. The game is set over a series of loosely connected stages, and gameplay involves pressing a direction on the D-pad or one of the action buttons in response to prompts onscreen. Failing to do so results in the player's character taking damage, and if all health is lost the game is over.
