Scanning Stations appear in every D.U.P. station, and are meant to stop Conduits from entering Seattle. The player can only use one of them during InFamous: Second Son, in the mission Welcome to Seattle. When destroyed, they contain Blast Shards, showing how the D.U.P. uses them to power the scanners.
