The Fourth Doctor figure is particularly notable for looking nothing like Tom Baker. This was allegedly because a fire at the factory had destroyed the fourth Doctor head sculpt so Denys Fisher had to use a head sculpt designed for a Mike Gambit figure from an abortive New Avengers range. They are now highly collectable. Around the same time, Palitoy released a Palitoy Talking Dalek and a Palitoy Talking K9 to more or less the same scale, which were used interchangeably with the Denys Fisher range by many British kids of the time.
