Hewlet was a short, mahogany-skinned Jacksonian jump pilot who smuggled goods with his companion shipmates, Gras-Grace Nevatta, Firka, and Russo Gupta. He was killed by the mad Cetagandan Ba who nearly set off a war between Barrayar and Cetaganda.
