The Race::2001 Food World 300 was an ARCA RE/MAX Series event held at Track::Talladega Superspeedway on October 20, 2001. Bobby Gerhart won his first race since the 1999 season opener, leading all but eight laps in a very convincing victory over runner-up Bob Strait and the rest of the field.
