Regis is a tax protester who is seen in front of the courthouse carrying a picket sign before the gold truck arrives. The crowd tells him to go back to the woods; which left Gomer holding his picket sign. He called the assembled townspeople "barbarians" and "worshipers of Mammon". He was portrayed by Doodles Weaver.
