Cerdd Wood was a dense woodland south of Dunfearn, a remnant of the ancient forests of Eriador.Old temples similar in design to those found in the White Mountains and dedicated them to the worship of the Earth Mother (Yavanna), and Gobha (Aulë) could be found in Cerdd Wood.It´s only other inhabitants were a branch of the Drúedain known as the Breffrin.
