After unlocking the Temmie Armor, Temmie explains that while the armor is amazing, it can and will ruin the experience of combat. Temmie recommends that the protagonist buy the armor if they are having trouble with a certain fight only. 9999G is the initial price for the Temmie Armor, but each death reduces the cost (losing battles without dying, such as losing to Papyrus, does not count).
