Volk is seen playing tennis with Tezuka and coaching him. Initially Tezuka is serving balls to him then Volk invites to have a match with him. Siegmund Pupke arrives at the scene and recognises Tezuka and his playstyle. After the match, Siegmund converses with Volk about the proposal of contracting Tezuka to become a pro. However, since Tezuka has no experience with top class players, he needs experience first.
