Life Science is a class at James K. Polk Middle School. It is taught by Mr. Monroe. The life sciences comprise the fields of science that involve the scientific study of living organisms, like plants, animals, and human beings. While biology remains the centerpiece of the life sciences, technological advances in biology biotechnology have led to a burgeoning of specializations and new, often interdisciplinary, fields. At the school, the kids are given a fake baby and must take care of it.
