Emerald, also known as Green Esmeraude and Esmeraude, is one of Prince Diamond's commanders in the Negamoon Family and a citizen of the Negamoon. She has a horrible laugh, and is in love with Diamond. She is a very vain, selfish woman who is quite greedy and jealous.
