The hexlug is a herbivore living in the shadows of swampy forests (it is capable of swimming, employing an undulating motion of its body) In addition to its long tongue that it can use to strip off low growing foliage the hexlug has two flexible appendages close to its mouth-hole that it uses to grab or hold objects. There may be a relation to another, bigger species - 84B and possibly to 406 too (they are basically all long, tubular and worm/sluglike).
