AD 2309 is a free German space opera RPG by Peter Hildebrand. The universe of AD 2309 is filled with various non-human races, space vessels, megacorporations and the large bureaucracy of the Terran Union. At the beginning of the game's metaplot, the Terran Union prepares to defend itself against the insectoid Tsrit. Later, AD 2309 was released as a campaign setting for Liquid.
