Ronald Lee Ermey (born March 24, 1944) is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Drill Instructor (DI) and actor who made his TV debut as Metro-Dade Homicide Detective Sergeant Ernest Haskell in the episode "The Rising Sun of Death" of the series Miami Vice.
