As he ran through the leaves as quickly as he possibly could, Raion could feel a loud beating sound. He soon realized it was his own heart; pounding louder than the creature-behind-him's footsteps. He was a rather large hybrid with strong muscles, but he was scared of many things similar to that of a small cub. Raion accepted that, but he admitted long ago that it got out of hand many times. After a long while of constant running, he realized that the footsteps behind him were his own, and the creature had stopped following him. Finally, he sighed in relief, sweat pouring from his paw-pads. Wait. . . what's that? He spotted a rustling bush, no, two rustling bushes in front of him; maybe a fox-length away. BOOM!
