an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

Different species of bacteria feed in different ways. Some bacteria are predators and will ingest other bacteria or other organisms. Some bacteria simply absorb nutrients from their environment by diffusion and active transport of nutrient molecules, such as those bacteria found in human mouths. Still other bacteria are able to harness energy from the sun, such as cyanobacteria.
