Andrew Taylor joined the U.S. army as a young adult, and soon gained general status and founded the Mutant Task Force (MTF) to deal with mutant threats emerging from Earth's pollution. Once Norbax & Krabnoz surfaced, he sought out 5 highly skilled individuals to combat this new menace. He somehow had acess to the Morphing Grid, so the 5 were able to become Power Rangers.
