The Karabin samopowtarzalny wzór 38M (Kbsp wz.38M self-repeating rifle Model 38M), was a Polish 7.92 mm semi-automatic rifle used by the Polish Army during the Invasion of Poland of 1939. In 1934 Polish engineer Jozef Maroszek designed a prototype of a semiautomatic rifle for the Polish Army. Production was authorized at the end of 1935. In 1938 testing of the carbine ended. The Kbsp wz. 1938 was manufactured by Radom the state owned company, and by Zbrojownia nr 2 (Armory 2) in Praga (burrough of Warsaw).
