The jamel was a yellow-skinned, four-legged creature native to the planet Utapau. Jamels were used as beasts of burden by the Utapau Amani. During the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker found a jamel near an Amani village during their mission to Utapau and used it to pull a cart carrying a massive Kyber crystal.
