Lord Belisar was a Telmarine lord who lived in the years before the Narnian Revolution. He was fiercely loyal to King Caspian IX, and supported his son Caspian X after his death. Lord Miraz, the brother and murderer of Caspian IX, arranged for Belisar and Lord Uvilas, potential threats to his usurped throne, to be shot with arrows on a hunting party.
