The Gloom Widow is an enemy added to the original Final Fantasy starting with the Dawn of Souls version, based on the monster from Final Fantasy V. This enemy appears in all bonus dungeons, and is only slightly weaker than the Black Widow enemies Attack-wise. They may inflict Venom with their physical attacks, which may be a problem when entering Earthgift Shrine immediately after facing Lich.
