"The Wind is Howling" is a music track that first appeared in Dead or Alive 4 as the character theme for Hayate. "The Wind is Howling" later appeared in Dead or Alive 5, when the player fights Hayate in Hitomi's chapter. The theme is also optional in the Music Mode in Dead or Alive 5+ and Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, and can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.
