House Golemont is a vassal house of House Dermond. They rule the County of Golemont, and claim direct descent from Garnder Golemont himself, the founder of the Moonlyt Empire. "Golemont" is a Norttung word that roughly translates to "Highest peak", and it is known Garnder took this on as a title (or was posthumously dubbed such as a sign of respect in the Moonlyt culture), though not quite a surname. This house has taken this title as their own surname, despite being in Gardoria.
