Sir John Hart or Harte (d. January 1604) was an English grocer and politician during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. He served as lord mayor of London from 1589 to 1590. He also seems to have been involved in the founding of the East India Company. Otherwise, little else is known about Hart's life.
