Colonel Khamis Muammar al-Gaddafi (27th May 1983 - 20th October 2012?) is/was the son of Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi and the commander of the best trained brigade in the Libyan army, the Khamis Brigade. He was frequently rumored to have been killed during the war, including a widely believed rumor that he died on 29 August, 2011 when the car he was traveling in was destroyed by a NATO helicopter or by a technical.
