The Daidoji Library at Shiro Daidoji was built to collect information regarding the military tactics used by the Great Clans. One of seven copies of the Book of Sun Tao was kept there, the one originally intended for the Lion Clan, after the book was recovered in a farmer's field inside a mysterious stone shrine. Several books of gaijin lore contained detailed assessments of gaijin battle tactics, complemented by a series of scrolls, some written by Daidoji Uji, detailing how these gaijin maneuvers could be integrated into traditional samurai tactics.
