Chip Crosswire is Muffy's college-aged older brother. He is a freshman at Tallahassee Tech. He closely resembles his father, Ed. He is first referred to in Arthur's Perfect Christmas, where a Christmas stocking with his name is hanging on the Crosswires' fireplace. He was mentioned in "Phony Fern," when Muffy says he is coming home this weekend. That turns out to be the next episode, "Matchmaker, Match Breaker," his major appearance. He was later mentioned in "The Great MacGrady" and "Through the Looking Glasses."
