The GART50QA features a basswood body with a quilted art grain top, a bolt-on maple neck, Ibanez Powersound pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge. At the 2010 Summer NAMM Show a new Transparent Blue Burst finish was introduced. A similar model with a flamed art grain top is issued as the GART50FA and a left-handed version as the GART50QAL.
