Amber Johannsen was a character in The Bill during late 2004 and 2005. Tempestuous PC Amber Johannsen was feisty, gutsy and focused. She was born into a lower class family but had her sights on the high life; she was looking for a provider. In the mean time, being a police officer offered a stable income, good holidays and - best of all - an opportunity to take advantage of her role in society - oh; and there was a great uniform too. She decided to join the police after briefly dating a copper.
