The Imperial Republic of Frostguarde joined The Foreign Division on March 7, 2007 as the alliance's 12th member. Frostguarde was formerly a member of the Grand Global Alliance and fought in both Great War I & II. Illius Vander knew Tamurin, TFD's founder, from his days in Europa, a region of NationStates, and followed him to the fledgling TFD. In TFD, Illius Vander served one term in the Senate (July - November '07), a term as Minister of Immigration (November '07 - January '08), and two terms as a Magistrate (March - November '09).
