Kono was a male Ferengi in the 24th century. He was a cousin to Quark and Rom. In 2370, he robbed a museum on Cardassia V. He attempted to board Deep Space 9 to sell the merchandise (presumably with Quark's help), but, when contacted by the station's command crew, he beamed onto a departing Tellarite freighter. Kono eventually slipped into the station, but was caught and had the stolen bone carvings confiscated from him. (DS9: "Shadowplay") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. Kono is also mentioned in the audio book of the novel Legends of the Ferengi.
