Sam is a larcenous Sqid (Because "U" shouldn't go near them) from the webcomic Freefall. He owns a robot named "Helix" and employs an anthropomorphic wolf female as an engineer. Sam's zany get-rich-quick scemes often lead to injury. He is quite petty as villains go. He has considered going straight multiple times, but it's more fun to dodge the mob of angry townsfolk.
